Who is your Inspirational Cosmic Child
This article is part of the SolePath Parenting series. Charismatic ‘Sun’ Child | Compassionate ‘Moon’ Child | Inspirational ‘Cosmic’ Child Intellectual ‘Star’ Child | Intuitive ‘Earth’ Child | Spiritual ‘Celestial’ Child
Children with an Inspirational SolePath are Cosmic Children, and they are powerful and free. Cosmic means the orderly system of the universe, and Cosmic Children focus on making things happen in an organized and efficient way.
The superpower of the Cosmic Child is Turbo Charge. This means that they are an inspirational person who has strength, creates order and connections and values freedom.
Inspirational
Your Cosmic Child wants to help. They have an innate desire to be a good person and inspire others by the way they live their life.
Help your Cosmic Child develop this by giving them chores and age-appropriate responsibilities. Encourage and appreciate their efforts to help in the home.
Sometimes, your Cosmic Child’s desire to be of service can make them insensitive. They could become so focused on what they see needs to be done, that they walk all over others and ignore their feelings. The outcome becomes more important than the way that they arrived at the result. Help your Cosmic Child become aware of the people, not just the task, and help them develop empathy.
Strength
Your Cosmic Child has remarkable inner strength and power. This is mostly a positive characteristic, but it sometimes shows up as being headstrong and stubborn.
It can be a fine balance between allowing your child to exercise their strong free will and having them cause chaos and be disruptive. Your Cosmic Child has strong opinions. Listen to their opinions and teach them to listen to yours too. Give them options and respect their strength. Give them opportunities to change their mind.
These children are powerful and free. Help them channel this power in a way that helps others, not in a way that causes chaos – where they behave as if they are entitled.
Order
Your Cosmic Child functions so much better in an organized environment and in a life with predictable requirements and outcomes.
Keep your child informed about their schedule, about what’s coming up and about what is required of them. Help them when their stance is inflexible.
Teach them to keep their space and their things organized – a place for everything and everything in its place. This will help them feel safe and will help them develop early independence. One of your Cosmic Child’s great gifts, as they grow older, is their ability to create order for others. They will be relied upon by others, and they will welcome this. Living in an organized space fosters their gift of being able to create order.
Connections
Provide your Cosmic Child with opportunities to feel safe with other people and to create meaningful connections. Creating positive relationships, rather than feeling disconnected from other people, is a big part of their life journey.
The Cosmic Child is more comfortable with people that they know because with these familiar people, they just feel powerful and free to be themselves. Encourage small group interactions and close friendships to help them create safe, strong connections with others.
Sometimes the Cosmic Child struggles with relationships, as their strength of character and their attitude of entitlement may rub others the wrong way. See their strength as a beautiful gift and help them develop people skills. There is no need for your child to make themself small for others, especially if they are paying attention to the effects that they have on others.
Freedom
Your Cosmic Child’s desire to help can make them try to do too much. Teach them how to say ‘no’ to give themselves freedom from obligation.
At home and in the classroom, if you want something done – ask a Cosmic Child! They can so easily see what’s needed and the best way to get things done, and this makes it difficult for them to say no. They find a great deal of fulfilment in making things happen, in bringing order to chaos.
But when there is too much to be done, and not too many others helping, they just feel overwhelmed. Understanding that they have permission to say ‘no’ is a huge life lesson.
Their Turbo Charge superpower is how your child interacts with the world. You have learned that they are an inspirational person who has strength, creates order and connections and who values freedom.
They also have a path connected to this superpower, which describes your child’s special and unique gifts and greatness. The paths with Turbo Charge are Conformist, Humanitarian, Manager and Teacher.
Knowing this, contributes to understanding your child at a deep level, and helps you to become the best parent you can be. A parent who provides a happy, loving and nurturing environment.
