The Field around you Expands and Contracts in Relationship with your Resonant Experience.
The field is your outer body resonant aspect. It holds the connection to your heart and mind and though you may not understand this, it is one of the most important aspects of your health that you never knew about.
What can be confusing is that the field is many aspects of your resonant nature that can’t be determined by simply looking at a person. It is a subtle body of energy that speaks to the resonant formation of all living things. In traditional Chinese medicine we call this Chi. In more modern day terms, we simply call it your energy field.
Chi is a multitudinous dynamic; it is always present and it is always in transformation. You can think of it like the wind in a wind storm or the calm on a flat summer day. It will pick up the energetic nature of every living being in relationship to where you are. Some people call this interpretation of the field their spidey senses, some might only be aware of it when they talk about getting the heebie-geebies. But you know what I mean. This is your most powerful communication sensor and it’s time you knew how to use it. It serves you greatly but you can only be aware of it if you can understand some simple concepts that we are going to talk about right now.
Your Emotions are in Expression through the Field and through your Body.
You can feel an emotional outburst rising in a room because of the change in the field dynamic. You can feel a peacefulness of energetic calm if you walk into a room of people with similar resonant formations, you would be unaware of a contrasting energetic so you might not even consider it.
Now think about a time when you were a child and what it felt like to be in the happiest, most joyful position you could be in. This is where your field was in its most expanded state. Now think about when you got in trouble, this is your collapsed energetic state. The emotions parallel the movement of the field resonance. So this is your greatest awareness indicator of what your field is doing.
Your Field is your Lifeline to Truth.
It tells you what you need to know without interpretation. The distortion of the Field occurs when you don’t listen to yourself and try to interpret your information based on experiential data instead of current moment awareness. This becomes the game you play with yourself for your whole life. What is true? What is not? What is real? What is not? What is perception? What is awareness?
Can you think for a moment for a reason why you would have such a finely tuned system of expression. It is simply because it is who you are. You are your field and your field is you.
In simple terms, your true nature, your field is the most expanded aspect of your mind and personality and conscious and subconscious awareness. It can be seen as in indicator of health simply because if you know what your field is doing, you know what your mind is doing and how your body is responding.
Can you play with this idea for a minute and see how it sits with you?
Go to a window or a doorway and imagine that every single thing that moves or resonates has a field energetic placed around them. Some things are big and expansive like a cloud in the sky. Some things are hard and contracted like a piece of metal. Or imagine an outdoor day on a windswept field, there is more energy moving and swirling around than you can see. Actually, you are only aware of this because you have a visual aspect and feeling aspect that contributes to your awareness of the movement of field materials. Field energy, like the wind can only be made aware of by the way you feel or something you see reflected in its experience.
Come sit for a minute under a starry night and think about the field energy of the moon, it resonates its powerful tranquility back to Earth and is part of the restorative nature of our world. It creates a rhythm around us that pulls the field of the Earth in its own direction. We call this the tides, but the tides keep us in resonant flow. It stops the world from standing still in a stagnated expression. This is a powerful dynamic that stops the world from falling out of rhythm. Could you imagine what would happen if the world stopped spinning on its axis, or the stars kept falling from the sky?
These are interplays of the world in nature and they help us understand what happens in our own bodies when we attempt to override this system of present moment awareness. The true beauty of your field is what it conveys to you in your moment of knowing.
How are you going to know what actually feels good or bad, right or wrong, if you dial down your sensory stimulus system so low that it sits in distortion of the information you need to receive?
Your field is your best friend. You need this aspect of yourself more than you need oxygen. In some ways it is the reason you can be here at all. Were it not for your field you wouldn’t be participating in any aspect of your life at all.
Your field is your deepest treasure and your treasures are all found in your own personal awareness of expansion and contraction.Dr. Janice Brown D.Ac.
We can talk about field dynamics for hours. In fact that’s one of the things you’re going to hear me speak to you at length about in many different aspects of your life. It’s time for you to really know and understand what it is your field is conveying to you and how you can use this understanding and rhythm your whole life through.
For now, tuck these two understandings under your hat and keep them in mind as you go through your day.
Energetic Expansion: Any field movement from neutral (energy at rest) outward in expansion is a normal rhythm of expansion. Energetic expansion’s rhythm of the field exists anywhere between neutral and your most expanded state. Remember, contraction is a normal rhythm of expansion. Expansion is innate. You can know you are in an a state of energetic expansion anytime you experience positive thought, emotion or outcome.
Energetic Collapse: Energetic Collapse is an implosion of your energetic field on your body, this field dynamic is always accompanied by negative emotion, thought or outcome. Collapse occurs when there is a continuous effort to remain aligned to a negative outcome.
There are many subtleties in this work and we are going to explore them together.
Your field is the one aspect of self that is always conveying to you the truth of your experience. When you can read these subtle messagings like a billboard sign in Vegas you are going to start having a lot more fun in your life. And a lot more health too.
Be in awareness of your current experience of emotion several times throughout the day. How do you identify that emotion? Keep it simple for now, just positive or negative. Now, notice what you feel in your body, every subtle nuance that accompanies that emotion. Below are a few examples of body awareness, but remember, your own definition and awareness is what is important, you are the one that has to be able to understand your own energetic signal.
Collapsed energetic field: Does your body feel like you are wearing clothes that are too tight? Is some part of your body pulling, contracting or moving away from its neutral body position?
Expanded energetic field: Do you feel expansive, outside of your personal space, bigger than you are, larger than life? Maybe you feel effervescent, sparkly, or bouncy? Perhaps you feel pulled forward, your energy moving you instead of you trying to control your energy (collapsed). You don’t have to be rigorous about this. Gentle awareness without judgement is the key. From this point of awareness, if you feel a negative or collapsed state, simply choose to feel something better in the moment. Remember relief is a powerful choice. If you feel expanded and are experiencing positive emotion of any kind, savour it. Do anything you can to stretch that experience and awareness out into its fullest state.
